Your emphasis on grounding Stoicism in Epictetus while critiquing pop-Stoic misunderstandings fills an importnt gap. The grindset warrior version seems particularly damaging since it completly misses the internal focus of the discipline. How do you balance presenting Stoic pracices as accessible to modern readers without oversimplifying the demanding nature of the discipline of asent? Looking forward to seeing how you translate ancient texts into contemporary contexts without losing their philosophical rigor.

Thanks. “ How do you balance presenting Stoic pracices as accessible to modern readers without oversimplifying the demanding nature of the discipline of asent?” With great difficulty, and I suspect repetition. The process of correct assent is a simple concept, but cognitively taxing and contrary to what we learn through modern living/socialisation.
